Direct Primary Care (DPC) family medicine office operates on a membership-based model where patients pay a flat monthly fee for access to comprehensive primary care services. This approach cuts out insurance billing for routine care, allowing doctors to dedicate more time to their patients and focus on personalized treatment
At Devoted DPC, we are committed to providing high-quality medical services to our patients. Our team of experienced providers, and staff work together to ensure that each patient receives personalized care and treatment. We offer a wide range of medical services, including primary care, specialty care (on the way to the specialist - if needed), diagnostic testing, and more. Our dedication to examining our patients i as well as conventional care, allows us to provide treatment to you as a whole person and look for more creative ways to manage your health than another prescription whenever possible. Every person and has different needs and reactions to treatment and that is why we work hard to understand YOUR needs. We deliver the best possible care possible to our patients. We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community, one patient at a time.
If you are in need of medical care, don't hesitate to contact us. We offer same-day appointments. Our friendly staff is here to help you every step of the way.
At Devoted DPC, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive medical care through our Direct Primary Care model, which emphasizes personalized and easy services for each patient. Our mission is to ensure that every patient receives timely treatment and extensive support in an environment that prioritizes patient well-being, all while embodying the principles of Family Medicine.

You wlll get undivided attention with real thought implemented in your care. A chance to make a plan together with your doctor that is easy to fit your lifestyle. There is a no maximum of free visits a year for 30-60 minutes with the doctor. The only time, I will look at a computer in your visit is to fix your prescriptions and order labs or to review your past assessments. We will do this together so you can see what is happening as well. The convenience of telehealth visits won't be declined by an insurance company leaving you with a surprise bill. They are paid for with your membership.
I only ask to see you at least once a year but sometimes more often for chronic conditions. Those are patients that need extra help, with needs to help make sure they get the opportunity to protect their health and perhaps reverse those chronic conditions. Your health is my priority.
If labs are ordered you will receive transparent pricing with the option to pay our discounted cash rate or have the lab run your insurance. Often our discounted rate is less than what your copay would have been.
You get the labs you need without haggling with the insurance company on the coverage. Labs commonly rejected today are : Hemoglobin A1C, Vitamin D, it all depends on your insurance company and what feels like a finger to the wind.... more and more labs are being rejected by insurance everyday. When it's not the lab, it's the medicine or the imaging or the procedures.
Procedures on the DPC subscription plan will pay discounted rates for procedures done in the office and we help our patients get lower cash prices for an outside x-rays or other imaging. There are more and more health care providers that are on the "get out of insurance" tract. It has been driving many physicians and patients away - literally, it steals our health too. So you will be seeing more and more family medicine physicians taking this route. If they don't die from the workload , they will quit - unless health care changes and greed is a hard thing for many to walk away from.
Our patient portal allows you to easily access your medical records, book appointments, and communicate with your doctor. It's secure and easy to use. Trouble logging in? Call us and we will help you through the process.
This is a sticky problem. We can make referrals to doctors but they don't always take cash prices (yet), but what we will do is help you to get help until you can get into your doctor that is assigned to you and get the referral from them.
I didn't have to do this, I promise I didn't. I became disabled in 2019 with a very rare condition that cannot be cured. I had to get well and I realized that short visits don't give an opportunity to help patients (including me). Insurance companies force patients to get short visits. I didn't realize how bad this was until the office had been in practice for one year. One of the Insurance companies literally only allow me to see patients but for no rational reason excludes my nurse practitioner. This means those patients can't get care if I have too many patients. Because I am disabled, I can't see 20 patients in a day and I don't want my Nurse Practitioner to either. It's not right. The only rational alternative is to allow patients to get real care through the Direct Primary Care program. Sure it can be used for simple cash pay patients as well. But I believe that most patients will benefit more with longer visits and then have less of them. Why am I trying to do this? Because patients are broken. In the time I was out trying to get myself well. I discovered that the focus of treatments was the treatments, but not on cures. Just pills to cover up the core problem. I had to dig out my own core problems to get this far. I had to go out of the box to find real answers and insurance doesn't pay for that type of care. If I hadn't had the education from Medical School, I don't think I would have known how to proceed. So I am here to help educate others on how to get well and stay well. I don't want people to worry that their office visit is going to be costly so I make a subscription service to eliminate the unknown cost, and I want to be able to get the right labs to get the right care for you.
When insurance just keeps cutting your care back to bare bones and you can't really see a doctor without making a full trip, think about how easy it would be to pick up a phone and just call the doctor. It might take a couple of hours to hear back at most but there's not labeled telehealth, we just take care of the patient. Your visits are just covered by the subscription.
Please reach us at ramidpc@ramiturner.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A subscription plan that will complement your insurance plan. This plan gives you premium care with time to discuss not only your current acute problem but looks deeper into your healthcare to find the core issues that might make you get sick or are making you sick. You are buying time which is pretty awesome when you really need it
24/7 call, text, message or email and visits when needed at no extra charge. The only extra charges might be labs or procedures that are deeply discounted for members. We have lots of extra perks. Peptides that are helping many people reverse illness, hormone pellets for those in need of restoring quality of life and relationships, fluid infusions when needed, we carefully select the medications you actually need and help you to work towards not being held hostage to pharmacies to treat side effects of too many medications and wondering what you really need. We help you work that out.
Absolutely! We provide comprehensive preventive and wellness services, including annual physicals, lab work, exams, and cancer screenings.. We are expanding our services in the coming months. We have access to many tests not found in your general laboratory.
No. However, sometimes insurance has a large deductible or simply not enough personalized care. We complement your insurance but you cannot file a claim to your insurance for your subscription and some of your covered services. We suggest that you get a low cost insurance plan with a deductible you could manage in a catastrophe and save the rest for real medical care with a doctor who knows your needs. We have access to places where private pay for imaging is actually LOWER than your "portion of the deductible" in your insurance plan. Sounds crazy doesn't it?

The truth is you are being robbed! If you think it's the high cost of health insurance and the copays and deductibles and 20% to pay after that,: yes that's true, they are happily taking your money for the privilege of sitting in a waiting room 45 minutes, the office room and other 15 and then finally the doctor! o wow! and in a blink of an eye - he's gone and you have a prescription you hope works and maybe some day, he (or she) will actually put some thought into what would help you the most. Maybe because there is not another choice, because now you are in the hospital but what is worse than all that year after year? Not getting enough time on your doctors visit to make sure you get the right tests, diagnosis and care. When THAT happens, you find yourself nearing retirement broken, unable to do the things you wanted because your health has declined too much. Your health and your families health is being damaged because the actual rip off you are getting from your insurance company is a financially mandated 7 minute face to face time with your doctor who simply cannot make an operative clinic without seeing 4-5 patients an hour.
This is why we have made a Direct Primary Care clinic where you can have a primary care physician who take the time to look after you instead of bothering with the insurance company who will insist that you get the care THEY think you need! They decide your lab tests, your time with the doctor, the pharmacies you can use, the medicines you take and they actually own the same companies they pay for your "healthcare" so they really don't lose a dime of your hard earned money. It's hidden in the hospitals, corporate physicians who are burning out and leaving this profession. And the independent physician, they drive out with even lower reimbursements. Who gets hurt in the end? - YOU!
They are stealing your health., and you might not get it back.
Do you want a doctor patient relationship where you have autonomy over your care and a doctor who helps you by listening to your situation and considers the best benefits vs risks for treatment to help you get the time you need?
Do you pay a large deductible unless either you see the doctor assigned to you and then that doctor doesn't give you enough time?
Do you want agency over your care? Do you want to understand your care enough to make decisions that you can manage?
Do you pay cash and hope that will buy you a relationship?
Are you concerned about the cost of visits when you know you need to get them for chronic problems like diabetes or High Blood pressure? So instead you just don't go - (that's how they steal your health.)
If the answer to to any of these is yes, then you might want to keep the lowest paying insurance and the highest deductible you could and sign up for real care to keep you less likely to need a specialist or emergency room for your care. I you need a specialist, you can get one, If your insurance requires that you see the doctor they assign, then at that point you make your appointment with the assigned doctor and tell them you need a specialist and show them your records. They will be glad I did their work for them, because they don't have time. They are trapped in the cogwheels of established corporate healthcare.
For everyone, this is a personal decision and during this time of changes to insurance, it is a good time to make the best decision for you and/or your family.
Your health journey matters. Let's start it together. Tired of the "turnstile" approach to healthcare? Dr. Rami Turner, a physician who believes true healthcare is more than just managing symptoms, created Devoted DPC. In a system driven by insurance complexities and limited visit times, we offer a different path. By removing insurance from the equation, we can dedicate our practice to what matters most: our patients.
This journey started so small and so long ago. I didn't know where it was going and maybe not many did. I didn't even know I would be able to open an office, so when I did, I started the "traditional" way with insurance company credentialling...
The Direct Primary Care programs began about a decade ago. to help people with the large deductibles and cash paying patients. I just had no idea how necessary it was to really provide care that gave both of us: You the patient and me the doctor to come to decisions about your health that really helped.
This is why I created Devoted DPC. I wanted to build a practice where no one is ignored. A place where you are genuinely heard, respected, and given the time you deserve. This approach means stepping outside the insurance model for primary care, but it ensures you receive high-quality, continuous care with no surprises.
Standard Insurance does not allow for that type of care. They allow for get the patient in and get them out. No extra problems and they constantly deny your medications. Not much I can do about that part but I DO know some good places for better options and how about we get off of some of these medications?
How we work: Personalized attention: Our subscription model allows us to prioritize a genuine doctor-patient relationship, not insurance restrictions. Open communication: Reach out directly to me when you have a question. Affordable and clear: Know what you're paying for upfront. No extra charges for visits, just the monthly fee. Procedures, labs and other extra care will be discounted deeply. Also: There is no signup fee and you can technically cancel anytime after the first month. Go to http://www.devotedDPC.com to sign up and then call for your first appointment!
What is your doctor doing all day? Did you think they were seeing patients? Not when they are bowing down to the insurance gods to save you and your doctors penny here and a penny there. Devoted DPC is here.

For most people, insurance resembles a catastrophic insurance plan, particularly when they do not reach their deductible. Your health worsens with brief, five-minute visits to their doctor, with no time for meaningful discussions about their health condition. This leads to piecemeal care failing to address the root of the problem.. In contrast, Direct Primary Care offers a comprehensive approach, focused on patient well-being, providing personalized care to prioritize needs of patients.
